Iain Chalmers, Managing Director, welcomed guests to Holst Expo 2017 at the 2012 Olympic venue, Dorney Lake, near Windsor, last Thursday, 22nd June.
We promised delegates an agenda full of Learning Tasters, speakers, networking and a preview of the 360 leadership tool from The McQuaig Psychometric System. The day kicked off in style with Paul Anderson-Walsh and Linbert Spencer from The Centre for Inclusive Leadership. They set the bar high with their inspirational insights on what it takes to make inclusive leadership happen. At the core of their talk was how to unleash the extraordinary power of inclusion, that comes from people fitting together rather than just fitting in.
The morning continued with Learning Tasters taken from our Professional Development Portfolio: Think On Your Feet®, Creative Teams, Effective Teams, Effective Interviews & Selection, Six Thinking Hats®, Colour Accounting™ and also British Psychological Society Test User training. At just 45 minutes, each session gave a real flavour of the training programmes as well as showing they can benefit any organisation.

As promised, lunch was delicious and much needed after some intensive learning! Thanks must go to the Dorney Lake team for delivering on this very important part of Holst Expo 2017.

We then heard from Ian Cameron, MD of The McQuaig Institute, who flew in from Toronto for the event. He gave an exclusive sneak preview of the forthcoming 360 leadership tool from the McQuaig Psychometric System. It’s a really exciting development and we can’t wait until its launch in September 2017. Stay tuned for further details.
Following on, we served up another round of learning tasters, before Holst’s Commercial Director Jo Emmerson finished the day by thanking all involved in making the event a huge success.

And so, a much planned and anticipated day came to an end. We were weary as we packed boxes and rolled up our banners. But very, very happy to spend time with so many valued clients. To those who were sadly unable to join us, we look forward to seeing you next time.
