In the run up to Christmas, Holst and The McQuaig Psychometric System supported two great charities. There are so many wonderful causes out there, but these are two we hold particularly dear.
The West Berkshire Food Bank
It’s the second year we’ve chosen to support The West Berkshire Foodbank. Last year we loaded a car with food items and delivered them directly to the food bank. However this year we’re donating cold hard cash which is then matched by The Trussell Trust. Read real life stories of how The Trussell Trust changes lives.
African Impact
For over 10 years, African Impact has supported more than 12,500 volunteers in projects across 12 countries. Projects range from working alongside community healthcare workers and teachers, to research and conservation in game reserves throughout the continent.

I have a friend who went to work for African Impact over 4 years ago now. She said she’d be home in 6 months … and 4 years later… I’m still waiting. She started work organising volunteers on the different projects – working with the kids, rebuilding schools, helping the older generations to start reading and the list goes on. I’ve seen the amazing work she and the African Impact do in the local communities and further afield. They’re always looking for reading material, games, clothes and anything we think will make a difference to these people’s lives.. hence our collection.
